This manual is published in terms of Section 14 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). PAIA gives effect to the constitutional right of access to any information held by a public or private body that is required for the exercise or protection of any rights.

6. How to Request Information

To request access to information under PAIA:

  1. Complete the PAIA request form (available from the Information Regulator)
  2. Submit the form to our Information Officer at zander@veloxai.co.za
  3. Include proof of payment of the prescribed fee (if applicable)
  4. Specify the records requested with sufficient detail

7. Fees

The following fees apply to PAIA requests:

  • Request fee: R0 (no fee for the first request)
  • Access fee: As prescribed by the Information Regulator
  • Photocopying: R1.10 per page
  • Electronic copy: R0 (if available electronically)

8. Processing Time

We will respond to your request within 30 days of receipt. If the request requires extensive search or consultation, this period may be extended by a further 30 days with written notice.

9. Appeal Process

If your request is refused or you are dissatisfied with the response:

  1. You may lodge an internal appeal with our Information Officer within 60 days
  2. If still dissatisfied, you may apply to a court for relief
  3. You may also complain to the Information Regulator
